1. By registering for the event in question, each participant, whether they are the driver, navigator, or passenger, declares to know and accept the event regulations, the Specific Competition Regulations, the International Sporting Code, and the National Sporting Regulations, all of which they undertake to observe.
2. The participant also declares to hold the organizer, its collaborators, race officials, the owners of roads and closed facilities (racetracks) used during the event, sponsors, and supporters, as well as their representatives and/or employees, harmless from any and all liability for damages that may occur to them, their vehicle, or transported goods, and/or damages caused by them or their vehicle to third parties during the event. Furthermore, they agree to waive any appeal before arbitrators or courts for incidents occurring during the competition.
3. It is specified that the organizer and its collaborators assume no liability toward the participants for damages caused by third parties to their vehicles, theft of the same, or transported goods during the event. There is no obligation for the organizer to safeguard participants’ vehicles or goods, neither during the event nor during stops, whether daytime or nighttime, in private or public areas, open or closed.
4. Pursuant to the current law on personal data protection (196/2003), the participant authorizes the organizer and/or its representatives to process their personal data, use it, and include it in databases, holding the organizer harmless from any related liability.
5. The participant acknowledges that all images captured during the event by its representatives, including those involving their person and/or vehicle, may be freely used by the organizer without entitling them to compensation, remuneration, or indemnity. Participation in the event implies unconditional authorization for the organizer to use all related images on any media, platform, or context, including the Internet.
6. The participant declares to be informed that the event will take place on roads open to traffic and assumes responsibility for their conduct and compliance with road traffic regulations, especially those concerning maximum speed limits.
7. Any damages caused by the participant to themselves, third parties, or facilities during the use of racetracks will be entirely their responsibility. The participant has been warned of the potential consequences of using such facilities. For all purposes of this waiver, “organizer” refers to Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d. as well as any other individuals or entities who, alongside or instead of Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d., contribute to organizing the event in any capacity. The driver is fully responsible, including as a guarantor for the organizer, for any damages caused to the navigator and/or passengers in their vehicle during the event. All clauses in this waiver constitute a single, indivisible agreement. Failure to accept or comply with even one clause, if it occurs during the event, will result in the participant’s automatic disqualification, along with their navigator and passenger, and immediate exclusion from the event. In such cases, participants will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
8. The driver and navigator acknowledge that by submitting this registration electronically or via fax and paying the required fee to Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d., they formalize their ordinary membership in Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d. for the current year. The membership fee (€100.00) is included in the total amount paid to Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d. for event participation, with the remaining amount allocated to covering the organizer’s expenses. If the payment is not considered for membership, VAT will be applied to the participation fee.
9. For any disputes arising from participation in the event, membership in Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d., or the application of the above clauses, the exclusive and mandatory jurisdiction is the Court of Catania.
By submitting this registration form, we authorize Scuderia del Mediterraneo A.s.d. to collect our data, provided in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR EU 679/2016.
